4. Are there any hostel facilities for students?

Hostel facilities for students is under construction, very soon students will be benefited with this. Currently, GSS has contracted the hostels owned by its faculty where students from Global College are accommodated exclusively.

9. Are the students taken for any field visits? How often and whereabouts?

With respect to the demand of subject and also for additional skills enhancement, students get regular field visits. Few among many are botanical visits, tours, picnic tours, IT park visits, educational tours such as to Mustang, Pokhara, India, and other many places.

10. How is the library facility at GSS?

GC (Global School of Science) provides unfailingly updated library facility as the most prioritized learning resource center. It has been developed and equipped with thousands of text bookr, reference books, journals, informative documents, online sources and media as key tool to supporting teaching-learning process to get integrated with research and library learning process for better outcomes. There are a wide range of collections of texts and reference books relating to different subdivisions of Science and Technology, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Periodicals, Journals, Magazines, Bulletins, Multimedia, and Soft learning devices. 

Along with physical resources, GSS has made an installation of advance digital and e-learning systems and sources that lend access to a wide range of learning resources providing the end users an unlimited access to global learning networks, web-media resources, learning platforms and virtual disseminations of scientific publications like research journals and other different media of knowledge.

GSS library is well equipped with an assortment of essential resources that engage students, teachers, staff with English & Nepali friction books (Stories, Poetry, Drama, Literary, Classics, Thriller, Romance, Anthology, Crime, Scientific etc.), Non-friction books (Motivational, Biography, Auto Biography, Self-help, Adventure, Literature, History, Memoir, Sports, Leadership, Business, Management, Spirituality, Philosophy, Religious etc.) Course books, reference books, Magazines, Daily newspapers as well as journals in Science and numerous other subjects and disciplines that our communities of learners need for boosting their knowledge by conducting reviews, research, writing from samples, and many more. 11. Does GSS incorporate audio visual teaching approaches, technologies and techniques in building teaching and learning practices interactive?

14. Which board or university is GSS affiliated for Science program?

GSS (Global School of Science) has been affiliated to the NEB for Science (11 and 12).

15. What are the backgrounds and experiences of the faculty members?

Faculty members are highly experienced and qualified. Each faculty at GSS has to have scored more than 60% in their Master’s degree along with minimum five years of teaching experience. These are some must criteria for the candidates to applying for teaching at GSS or otherwise the college doesn't approve faculty application for selection.

16. I have heard that we can choose any subjects in Bachelors when we study Science in plus two, is it true?

Yes, Science is a subject with open scope meaning that you can go for any subject in any faculty e.g. BSC and MSC physics, biology, technology engineering etc. law, management e.g. BHM, BTTM  BBA, and others when completing +2 in Science. 

17. What is the importance of studying Science?

Science is a highly demanding subject that guarantees the graduates not only of rich knowledge but also prosperous career as a doctor, engineer, researcher, professor and many more…

18.  I want to be a web developer in future. To achieve this, what things should I consider while studying Science in my plus 2?

You should first choose physical group with Computer Science as an elective subject. 

19. If I don’t study optional mathematics in my plus 2, which subject areas in Bachelors am I not allowed to study?

You will not be allowed to study Physics, Engineering, Mathematics in Bachelors if you don’t have mathematics in plus two. 

20. I want to study MBBS in future. Which subjects should I focus while studying Science in my plus two?

You have to choose biology group in plus two in order to pursue MBBS in future.

21. What different types of laboratories are there at GSS?

We have all the laboratories e.g. Physics, Biology and Chemistry and Computer laborites and each laboratory is equipped with high-tech facilities and all the modern equipment that the students are availed to conduct practical courses.

22. Which career can easily be achieved after studying Science?

There is no limit with a single career after successful completion of studies in Science. However, graduates of Science do get the best in medical and pharmaceutical sector, civil, mechanical and IT engineering, computer and information technology sector, forestry, agriculture, herbal science and similar highly demanding technology sectors. 

23. I have heard that students who have studied Science are given more priorities for scholarships in the colleges and universities abroad and the colleges that are affiliated to international universities in Nepal also. Is that true?

Yes, students on completion of +2 in Science often get selected with priority for scholarship to pursue university level abroad and also in the universities running international courses in Nepal. 

24. Is there any career in Nepal for students studying Science?

Yes, there are unlimited career prospects in Nepal for students studying Science granted that you complete in good grades and have successfully enhanced skills in different subjects of Science from +2 and of course, you continue study of Science and similar prospective subjects in Bachelors and Master’s level in Nepal and/or abroad.   

25. What is the most difficult aspect of Studying Science?

Difficulty in studying Science is an individual matter however, getting right meaning of and presenting theoretical and numerical principles in answering the exam questions should be scaled as the most difficult aspects that demand somehow, hard work, attention to study and regular practice under the guidance of experienced hands and faculty.

26. Which sector of the career is easily achieved after studying Science in government, non-government, private, and corporate sector in general?

In government sector, Science graduates work as doctors, nurses, medical consultants, and directors of hospitals, health and environment and ministry for information technology and their national, regional and local offices. In the non-government sector, Science graduates can find a job to work in the non-government organizations (NGOs) and in international non-government organizations (INGOs) in private sectors in designations e.g. hydro engineers, agro-industry experts, chemists, doctors, IT experts and consultants, pilots, astronauts, environment experts, and researchers, and many more…

27. Can we become an entrepreneur after studying Science?
